A mandatory Burn Ban has been issued to the entire State of Louisiana, by the Office of the State Fire Marshall’s Office.

Due to the extremely dry conditions throughout the state, the State Fire Marshall, Butch Browning has issued a cease and desist order for all private burning.

According to the State Fire Marshal’s Office, private burning shall only be allowed by permission of the local fire department or local government.

The Marshal’s office has ordered the ban to go into effect at 4pm Tuesday and will remain in effect until rescinded.

STATE WIDE BURN BAN IN EFFECT!!!!
