On May 22, 2007, we were notified by the Natchitoches Sheriffs 911 Center to respond for assistance to Red River Fire Protection District. Dispatched to the Grand Bayou Reservoir spillway. Divers searched until 2:30am until the search was called off till daylight. After their return at 8am they recovered the body at approximately 9am. The victim was identified as Vincent Callahan of Coushatta which was a recent graduate of Red River High School.
