Grass Fire / Power-Line Down—Hwy 480 E—August 2010

Fire District 9 responded to a grass fire with power line down on Highway 480 East. Firefighters assisted with traffic until Valley Electric arrived to secure the downed line. Then firefighters extinguished the remaining fire. It is believed the line broke during the winds we were having prior to a storm.
