Structure Fire-Highway 71 Fairview -Jan 07, 2011

Fire District 9 was called to respond to a reported structure fire, located at the Old Fairview Alpha Elementary School—Gym. Upon fire units arrival to the scene the structure was already fully engulfed and collapsing. Firefighters took a defensive approach, to protect nearby structures and prevent spread. The cause of this fire is under investigation. Responding to this incident was Natchitoches Fire District 9, Red River Parish wide Fire Protection, and Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office,
