Boating Accident-Cane River/LA494-June 23, 2009

Fire District 9 was called to assist at the scene of a boating accident at approximately 1:40am on June 23rd, 2009 on Cane River at Hwy 494. There was one injury and one fatality. Responding was Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Fire District 6 and 9, Cane Rive Patrol, La Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries, Louisiana State Police, Natchitoches EMS, and Natchitoches Coroner’s Office.
