Vehicle Crash–Highway 71/480-March 2009

Fire District 9 was dispatched at approx 1700 hrs on June 29th, 2009 to a reported 18-wheeler vs vehicle at the intersection of Hwy 71 and Hwy 480. Fire crews extricated victim and also assisted with Life Air Rescue Landing. 1 individual was transported by Life Air to Shreveport, and others were transported to local hospital. On scene was Campti Police Department, Natchitoches Sheriff’s Office, Sherriff’s Rescue, Natchitoches EMS, Life Air Rescue, and Fire District 9. Photos Courtesy of Campti Police Dept.
