Vehicle Crash–Highway 71-March 2009

Fire District 9 was dispatched to a head-on collision on Highway 71 in the Fairview Alpha Community. Firefighters utilized the Jaws-of-Life to free occupants from the vehicle. Also responding was Natchitoches Parish EMS, Red River EMS, Life Air Rescue, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff’s Rescue, and Louisiana State Police.
