Fire District 9 was called to respond to a crash on Highway 486 (Campti Cut-off) at approximately 1 pm. This crash was a head-on collision which resulted in 3 fatalities and multiple others with serious injuries. Responding to this incident was: Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office; Sheriff Rescue; Fire District 9 and 3; Natchitoches EMS; Red River EMS; Louisiana State Police; Natchitoches Parish Coroner’s Office; Acadian Air Med; Pafford Air One; and Life Air Rescue.
